Ökensandens Great Gotchi, born 7th March, 1995

Gotchi was my first ridgeback. She was bred by now deceased Annette Enderberg, who became a close friend and mentor.

I was hoping that  Gotchi – would produce that litter for me, but unfortunately she had elbow dysplasia. Gotchi was a fantastic teacher and kept a guarding eye on our daughter Agnes, who grew up with her – so fantastic to see.

Gotchi was a very strong minded bitch, who knew what she wanted. She accompanied us everywhere, including my travels in my work around Sweden. So typical ridgeback – content when she could tag along. Her best friend was Mango, a ridgeback male living close by and we met every weekend for long walks, often around Laxsjön on Ekerö, where we lived then. 

The show ring was nothing for Gotchi, we tried several time, but she never liked it.

A truly fantastic girl … always missed!
